Sound Values specializes in retailing used high end audio equipment. We also
carry many midfi quality items and some home theater equipment. We often have older
collectable gear and even mass marketed consumer electronics, and high quality car audio,
but these items are not our main focus. We try to maintain a nice inventory of
interconnects and speaker wire. We maintain brand new stock of commonly used tubes, such
as 12AX7, 6DJ8, EL34, and 6550. We also buy used audio equipment and accept trade-ins on
approval. Jeff’s Sound Values is founded on the basic concept of delivering an honest good value and service to our customers. To accomplish this we maintain a very low cost operation, allowing us to work to lower profit margins than our competition. We operate out of a warehouse and so not maintain a storefront operation, we market almost exclusively over the Internet, this site is in fact our virtual store, but our products are very real. Our competition generally maintains a storefront operation and uses the internet as a means to expand business or liquidate stale inventory. This formula allows us to sell for less and be more generous in buying your used audio components, particularly for trade ins. At Jeff’s Sound Values our policy is honesty and presenting information as completely and accurately as we can. If we do not believe a piece of equipment is right for your use, we will tell you. We are in this for the long haul, not to get a quick sale today, but to have a long mutually beneficial relation with our customers. This is not just marketing fluff, we have practiced these concepts for several years now and have benefited from excellent repeat and referral business. This has made this business work for both our customers and us. Most importantly lets all enjoy and have fun with this hobby. |
